The installer below puts inDepth Blue or inDepth Pool onto your Garmin over USB. Pick the app you want once the installer opens, then follow the on-screen steps.

Phone app — inDepth Apnea Sync
Open this page on your phone and tap the link for your device — the links below only work on the phone itself, not on your computer. Install the phone app to pull your dives and pool sessions off the watch over Bluetooth.
On iPhone the link opens Apple’s TestFlight app (install TestFlight first if you don’t have it). On Android it opens the Google Play listing.
Manual install (advanced / troubleshooting)
If the installer isn’t detecting your watch, or you’d rather copy the file yourself, download the bundle for the app you want, unzip it, and place the file matching your model in your watch’s GARMIN/Apps folder.

Mass Storage devices (Fenix 5, 5S, 5X)
- Unzip the download.
- Connect the watch with its charging cable — it mounts like a USB drive on macOS or Windows.
- Open the
GARMIN/Appsfolder on the watch drive and copy in the file matching your model from the table above. (These three watches are inDepth Blue only — there is no inDepth Pool build for them.) - Eject the watch, then disconnect it.
MTP devices (5 Plus family, Fenix 7, Descent — and Fenix 8, expected)
Windows: connect the watch, set Settings → System → USB Mode → MTP if it isn’t detected automatically, then open it in File Explorer, browse into GARMIN/Apps, and copy in the matching file from the table above.
macOS: Finder can’t browse these watches over USB — there’s no built-in manual drag-and-drop path on a Mac. Use the desktop installer above instead; it handles this automatically. Alternatively, you can use OpenMTP (https://openmtp.ganeshrvel.com/) to browse the watch and copy in the file.
