Now in beta · Dynamic apnea
Dynamic apnea training,
on the watch you
already own.
inDepth Pool turns your Garmin into a pool apnea training partner. It detects when each dive starts and ends, counts your turns and laps, splits every length, and shows detailed heart-rate charts at the pool edge — with multi-set workouts you build on your phone and adjust on the watch. DYN, DYNB, DNF and STA.

Built for pool apnea
A training partner that counts your laps and reads your heart.
Pool disciplines live and die by the details — splits, rests, heart rate, and honest history. inDepth Pool measures all of it automatically and keeps it on the watch and your phone.
Automatic everything
The watch detects when a dive starts and ends, catches every turn, and counts laps on its own — per-length splits with no buttons to press mid-swim.
02Heart-rate charts on the wrist
Review any rep during the session — the full heart-rate trace through the rest before it and the swim itself, plus splits, right on the watch.
03Workouts that travel
Build sophisticated multi-rep, multi-set workouts in the phone app, sync them to the watch, and modify them at the pool edge when the plan changes.
Workouts Plan on the phone, swim it on the watch
Sophisticated workouts — built on your phone, modified at the pool.

On-watch review
Every rep, reviewable before the next one.
Between swims, open any rep for its distance, swim time, rest, and the full heart-rate chart — surface HR through the rest, swim HR through the length. See how ready you actually are, in depth, while it still matters.

On your phone Deeper graphs & data
The analysis continues on your phone.
inDepth Sync pulls pool sessions off the watch over Bluetooth and turns them into detailed graphs and data — splits, rests, heart rate, trends and personal bests, next to your depth sessions.
Built by freedivers, for freedivers
inDepth Blue started on a dive line.
inDepth Blue was built by a freediver who got tired of his Garmin knowing his depth but having no idea when it was safe to dive again. Five surface-rest models, mid-dive profiles, hang detection — every feature in inDepth Blue exists because the watch on his wrist didn’t do it.

Supported hardware
Works on the watch you already own.
No new gear to buy. inDepth runs on thirteen Garmin models today — the fēnix 5, 5 Plus and 7 families plus the Descent Mk2 and Mk3 — and more are on the way. Depth on fēnix 5 and 5 Plus is chamber-verified to ~0.1 m past 40 metres; on fēnix 7 and Descent, Garmin firmware limits what Connect IQ apps can read, so treat depth there as unverified for now.

Treat ~40 m as the practical limit on fēnix (case rated 10 ATM). More Garmin watches are planned — request a beta invite and we'll tell you when yours is supported.
Chasing metres down instead of across? inDepth Blue is the freediving computer half — live depth, surface-rest safety models, and dive-by-dive analysis.
